If you are wanting to spend a few hours in the neighborhood and will want to take in some shopping before deciding on a place to eat, this plan would be for you! Start by getting off the Skytrain and enjoying a walk down Commercial to take in the sights and sounds. If you're into records or books, the first two stops would be Canterbury and Audiopile.
From there, continue north for your first vintage shop at Mintage, where you will find all kinds of great vintage items for any shape, size, and style.
Once you're done there, keep heading towards the mountains and stop for a treat at one of the many coffee shops or corner stores to keep yourself fueled for an early evening of shopping. Once you get to Venables, stop off at Slice of Life, Fun Haus, and Alterior, three spots that I can't get enough of! Shop around, check out all the local talent in both vintage picking and art making.
At this point, depending on time, you could head back to the drive and grab a drink at the Charlattan patio or Havana patio before heading to Nomo Nomo (reservation recommended) for dinner. If Nomo Nomo is all booked up, Cozen is a great back-up where you can dine-in or take out and eat in one of the many parks or the piazza in the neighborhood.
