Tap a stop to read more — open the guide to customize this route.
If you are wanting to spend a few hours in the neighborhood, early-mid day this route is for you. It'll first get you walking a bit off the path of Commercial to head to Mah Milk Bar. From the Skytrain station, you can start walking north, and then at any point, hang a right to head down one of the side streets until you get to Victoria. Keep walking North down Victoria and enjoy this century old neighborhood with some unique houses and massive trees. If you're feeling really adventurous, you can take another right at some point and go up to Lakewood for some more beautiful and unique architecture. Once you get to Grant & Victoria, head into Mah and grab a coffee and snack. You can eat it there or go across the street to Victoria Park to enjoy some sun in a local neighborhood hangout spot.
Once you're done your coffee, you can head back to Commercial to grab a slice of pizza from Don't Argue. Eat it our front with the locals, or, walk down to Grandview Park for some mountain views and people watching.
From there, head down the street towards Venables and stop off at Slice of Life, Fun Haus, and Alterior, three spots that I can't get enough of! Shop around, check out all the local talent in both vintage picking and art making,
and if you're feeling hungry after all that walking, walk one more block north to hit up Cafe La Tana for a delicious Italian lunch.
At this point, if you're finding yourself with some time, you can head back to the drive and stop in at Havanas for a snack or drink, while you meander your way back to the Skytrain station.
